On awkward neighborly relations between Arabs and Jews, and shady real estate schemed aimed to gentrify poor Arab neighborhoods.

In the mid-2000's, Cartoonist Eric Orner lived for three years in Jerusalem, an experience that would later inform much of his work. This comic originally ran in The Rumpus.

Eric Orner's comics have appeared in the 2011 edition of Houghton Mifflin's Best American Comics, among other places. He is an attorney by day (focusing on affordable housing issues) and a longtime staffer for former Congressman Barney Frank. For years, Eric's comic strip "The Mostly Unfabulous Social Life of Ethan Green" ran in San Francisco's Bay Times. The series was later adapted as a feature film staring Daniel Letterle and Meredith Baxter in 2006.
